Is responsible for inspecting products manufactured or processed by EnergySolutions to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Oversees vendor performance to ensure acceptance of products and services. Performs inspections to ensure established standards—especially those related to design control, procurement, inspection and testing—are maintained and EnergySolutions customers receive high-quality products and services. Provides quality control (QC) oversight and support to ensure compliance with governing requirements and to help ensure high-quality products and services for EnergySolutions customers. Develops and maintains QC plans, procedures and checklists used during the inspection of fabrication activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ensures loads and drivers are dispatched in the most cost effective and economical manner. Acts in a supervisory capacity to the Hittman drivers/owner operators (15-30 drivers each), including responsibility for directing their work, performance/discipline and providing hire/fire recommendations. Plans routes and dispatches company drivers/owner operators using fleet and transportation management software. Orders all overweight permits to reduce complications for cask shipments. Approves company driver timesheets/expenses to ensure accurate compensation. Analyzes driver Hours of Service to ensure proper load planning and ensure on-time delivery of loads. Performs other duties as assigned.

Is responsible for field implementation of the Radiation Safety Program. Ensures compliance with company, local, state and federal radiation safety policies and regulations. Monitors radiological work controls and work activities involving radioactive material. Interprets and verifies field data obtained from radiation surveys using the appropriate instrumentation and/or analyses. Performs activities to minimize contamination including decontamination of plant components, equipment and other items. Participates in the Radiation Safety Program by ensuring the safe collection, storage, packaging, transportation and subsequent disposal of radioactive material. These tasks are necessary to maintain a healthy workforce thereby enabling EnergySolutions to reach its performance goals and stay competitive in the marketplace. Performs other duties as assigned.
