Marketing Manager

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Currently residing within commuting distance to the Kearny or Totowa, New Jersey area or willing to relocate within ~2 months

 

Position Summary

We are a supplier of branded ingredients and contract manufacturing to the dietary supplement industry. We are seeking marketing professional for our Commercial Team to drive marketing and communication initiatives. The individual will be creative and able initiative to redefine how Pharmachem communicates with our customers and the industry. This role will be tasked with managing digital activities, including the website and social media. This role would also support commercial team activities such as trade shows, webinars, and other communication efforts. The right candidate will bring new ideas to the business, work independently, and be detail oriented.

 

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Develop content and guide creative direction for all public-facing communications, including website, social media and digital advertising
  • Display an attention to detail to ensure the Pharmachem brand is represented well across platforms
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful marketing strategies and inform business decisions
  • Partner with advertising agency to design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics
  • Execute two major trade show events, provide on-going sales support for customer specific marketing activities
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform business strategies, increase customer engagement, and generate more qualified leads
  • Track key metrics for website and tradeshow activity to gauge success and make recommendations for improvement in performance and efficiency
  • Develop all marketing communications to support new product launches
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis on marketing campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Develop marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement
  • Create sales enablement materials, including presentations, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in creating marketing materials and aligning efforts with business development objectives
  • With Marketing Director, establish annual budget and manage expenditures

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Proven success in developing marketing plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mindset
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Permanent US Work Authorization (US
  • Citizenship or Green Card) only

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the dietary supplement space, in a B2B company
  • Willingness to travel 10%

Sales Manager

Position Type: Full Time
Location: Remote

 

Position Summary

We are a specialty chemical Nutraceutical products manufacturer. We are seeking an exceptional Account Manager to manage a diverse customer base and drive new business opportunities through pipeline management and representing differentiated products across various end users (brands, CMOs, etc.). The account manager is expected to be a leader in engagement across the industry with a hunter focus while maintaining and growing the current customer base. He or she will have outstanding analytical, communication and strategic skills. They will work cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, quality, and operations to deliver on goals and objectives. This role is remote based and requires travel.

 

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing an exciting and diverse territory comprised on a broad spectrum of customers. These customers can differ by where they are in the value chain (co-manufacturer, brand, etc.) as well as their channel to market (MLM, FDM, DTC).
  • Promoting and selling the totality of our portfolio focused on Nutraceuticals Proprietary ingredients, Branded ingredients. Custom formulations. and manufacturing services. These are premium, differentiated sales
  • Developing a robust opportunity pipeline in salesforce.com, winning new business, and growing the sales territory through market share, innovation, and price management.
  • Negotiating commercial terms including pricing and supply contracts, seeking out mutually beneficial scenarios that allow both Pharmachem Innovations and our customer achieve their business goals.
  • Consistently integrate market and industry insights into our business, allowing us to effectively meet needs and innovate.
  • Become an expert on Pharmachem Innovations products and services, able to communicate them to all levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams within Pharmachem to unlock the full potential of the business. This includes activities such as providing forecasts to operations, leveraging R&D and marketing in sales process, and supporting management on key initiatives.
  • Maintaining all data systems including Sales Force.

 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. / B.A. in applicable field of study including but not limited to life sciences, engineering, marketing, and business administration or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of sales or marketing experience in the ingredients or dietary supplements market.
  • Permanent US Work Authorization (US Citizenship or Green Card) only

Director of Marketing and Business Development

Position: Full Time

Position Summary

We are a supplier of branded ingredients and contract manufacturing to the dietary supplement industry. We are seeking an exceptional leader for our Commercial Team to spearhead strategic marketing and business development globally. This role will be tasked with setting the long-term strategy for the business assessing organic and inorganic growth opportunities. The role will lead new product development and innovation efforts by engaging with the industry, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with other functions from concept to launch. He or she will have outstanding analytical, communication and strategic skills.  They will work cross-functionally with R&D, sales, and operations to deliver on goals and objectives. This role is remote based, focused on several potential key geographies, and requires travel.

 

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to position Pharmachem as a leader
  • Lead and mentor marketing manager
  • Establish thought leadership through webinars, whitepapers, and industry speaking engagements.
  • Own all marketing activities, directly managing Market Manager, defining annual budget, and mapping out clear communication strategy. 
  • Be key member of commercial leadership team driving the global business activities across the entire business including branded / proprietary ingredients, custom formulation, and toll processing.
  • Identify areas in which Pharmachem can win new business including but not exclusive to new application for current products, emerging brands / new customers, new business models, adding new ingredients to the portfolio, both organically and inorganically, and developing new business models that can unlock material revenue streams for the business.
  • Support new product develop initiatives, helping define the agenda via identifying customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Deploy data and analytics to steer business strategy, innovation, investment, and partnerships; creating robust business cases that improve probability of success.
  • Oversee digital marketing, content creation, and brand awareness
  • Develop marketing campaigns to generate high-quality B2B leads for the sales team
  • Establish relationships, and partnerships when relevant, with academia, suppliers, and other industry players, seeking out initiatives to better position Pharmachem in the market.
  • Map / understand the dietary supplement market, identifying / quantifying trends using both direct activities with customers and trade shows in addition to market research.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the science and technology, including industry advancements, constantly seeking to understand how developments can be understood to be able drive business.
  • Analyze and compare technologies to identify white spaces, in both ingredients and services, and hone Pharmachem value proposition to deliver value
  • Feed market needs and insights into the innovation pipeline, partnering with R&D to deliver high value products to the market
  • Support sales team in various business development activities such as seeking to understand customer needs, launching new products, and communicating Pharmachem value proposition
  • Lead technical discussions / seminars with customers and at industry events.
  • Support short- and long-term strategy creation including evaluation of product offerings and defining where we play in the value chain and business planning processes.
